索具組件
The iK26LT-tv system utilises heavy-duty, rapid-deployment components designed for frequent assembly and disassembly in touring environments. The primary rigging suite includes:
- TMF-iK26LT Mounting Frame: The primary structural interface for flown arrays, designed for direct connection to certified touring truss and hoist systems. Features integrated load-rated attachment points for Primary suspension and secondary safety connections.
- Quick Pinlock Fasteners: Two per side of each TMF frame, enabling rapid, toolless engagement and locking for maximum operational speed and security.
- A_LinkTV Quick-Connect Plates: allow precise adjustment of the splay angle between iK26LT-TV cabinets. The plates incorporate a durable locking hole grid and silkscreen angle markings (0° to 8° in 1°increments) to ensure fast and accurate visual verification during setup. Detailed configuration procedures are covered in “4.2.5”. Splay Angle Configuration”.
- Magnetic Pinlock System: Four magnetic quick-release pins per enclosure side, allowing for swift and secure cabinet interconnection without the risk of dropped fasteners during assembly at height.

Fitted as standard on all iK26LT-TV loudspeakers, the TRK-26LT rigging frame (Figure 3) serves as the primary interface for assembling vertical arrays. This integrated system accommodates all components required to couple enclosures securely.
The TRK-26LT utilises link plates to interconnect adjacent cabinets, allowing vertical splay angles from 0° to 8° to be set via quick-release pins. The frame is engineered to maintain a fixed intercabinet angle, ensuring consistent array geometry even when the entire system is tilted for aiming.
TUB-iK26LT_TV
The TUB-iK26LT Mounting U-Bracket is designed to support multiple iK26LT-tv loudspeakers, with load capacity depending on the chosen mounting configuration. This versatile rigging accessory allows a wide range of tilt adjustments and is suitable for use as front fill, underbalcony reinforcement, or for single-unit applications. It can also be employed in small array installations. The bracket is compatible with both floor-mounted and ceiling-mounted configurations.
警告: Only use the rigging quick release pin provided by Exel Acoustics
警告: Verify load capacity aligns with the number of enclosures used. For large array use the TMF-iK26LT Mounting frame.
索具程序
Modeling and inspection
Prior to installation, verify:
- Required quantity of iK26LT-tv enclosures
- Array splay angle calculations
- Mechanical compatibility of all system components
結構驗證
Confirm all suspension structures exceed the system’s total load capacity (including dynamic forces). Older venues or those with frequent heavy installations require special scrutiny of attachment points for fatigue or corrosion.
元件偵測
Thoroughly examine all load-bearing parts before each use:
- Hardware: Check screws, bolts, and fasteners for tightness or thread damage (replace any compromised M8 grade 8.8 hardware)
- Metalwork: Inspect rigging plates, welds, and seams for cracks, deformation, or rust
- Cabinets: Verify side-panel inserts show no elongation or stripping
合格人員要求
Only certified riggers familiar with the iK26LT-tv’s specifications may execute the installation.
Array Assembling Procedure
The iK26LT-iv system utilises two primary mounting methods:
- Primary Flown Configuration
- The iK26LT-tv system is intended to be flown using the TMF-iK26LT Top Mounting Frame as the main suspension interface. This frame provides certified attachment points for hoists and connects directly to the array’s quick-release rigging system to ensure safe and efficient deployment.
- Supports both forward mounting (negative angles) and rearward mounting (positive angles)
- Alternative Flown Configuration
- For smaller arrays or specific applications (such as front fill or under-balcony use), the TUB-iK26LT U-Bracket may be employed as an alternative flying method. This bracket supports a limited number of enclosures and allows adjustable tilt angles for accurate acoustic coverage.
- 程式
- CAUTION: Before TMF-iK26LT’s suspension check the shackle is properly fitted to the Rigging point and secured against loosening.
TMF-iK26LT Connector Plate Mounting
Align the LP connector plate with the integrated rigging points on the cabinet’s side panel. Select the orientation and hole pairs according to the desired splay angle configuration:
- Forward holes: Negative angles
- Rearward holes: Positive angles
- Secure the plate using the magnetic quick-release pins, ensuring an audible click confirms full engagement. Visually verify that the locking mechanism is fully seated before proceeding

iTGiK26LT Top Bar Oriented for Maximum Array Uptilt (Rearward)
CAUTION: Do not force the pins; realign the plate if engagement is not smooth
TMF-iK26LT Flying Bar Attachment
The TMF-iK26LT flying bar serves as the primary structural interface for array suspension. Attachment to the TMF-iK26 connector plate must be performed as follows:
- Align the flying bar with the upper mounting points on the TMF-iK26LT connector plate, ensuring full surface contact.
- Insert the Quick Pinlock fasteners by hand to verify smooth alignment.
- Confirm positive mechanical engagement and that the pinlock body is flush with the receiver.

警告: In rearward configuration the Flying bar must be turned 180º from Forward configuration
Secondary Safety Integration
The TMF-iK26LT rigging bar incorporates two secondary safety points located at either end of the bar.
- Requirement:The secondary safety system shall be connected to the designated secondary safety points of the TMF-iK26LT rigging bar before any load is applied to the primary suspension. All components shall have a Working Load Limit (WLL) appropriate to the total suspended load per point and shall comply with the requirements set out in UNE-EN 17206:2021 (including UNE-EN 17206:2021/AC:2022), together with any other applicable European or national regulations in force.
- Implementation: This system must be entirely independent of the primary suspension points and be capa- ble of supporting the total system weight. The secondary safety device must be installed such that, in the event of a primary suspension failure, the entire array is retained without falling or exhibiting uncontrolled movement.

- CAUTION: FAILURE TO INSTALL AND VERIFY THE SECONDARY SAFETY SYSTEM BEFORE HOISTING CREATES A RISK OF CATASTROPHIC FAILURE, WHICH COULD RESULT IN SEVERE INJURY OR DEATH.
- CAUTION: The secondary safety suspension must be independent of the primary suspension points and capable of carrying the total system weight.
- The additional safety device must be mounted in a way that the array is caught by the safety device without any drop and swing in the event that the primary suspension fails
Dual Pickpoint Option
The dual pickpoint configuration employs two TMF-iK26LT flying bars to suspend the array from two independent motors. This arrangement increases stability and allows precise management of the array’s centre of gravity (CG). The orientation of the TMF-iK26LT connection plate can be adjusted to optimise load distribution under maximum uptilt or downtilt conditions.
CG Alignment
The orientation of the connection panel shall be set according to the required tilt profile:
- Standard Uptilt: orient the connection plate in the forward configuration.
- Downtilt: invert the connection plate to the rearward configuration, shifting the CG rearwards to improve stability.

TMF-iK26 Connection Plate in Forward (Maximum Downtilt) and Rearward (Maximum Uptilt) Orientations
CAUTION: Incorrect panel orientation or asymmetrical load distribution may cause uncontrolled array tilting, structural failure, or component over-load
Splay Angle Configuration
The TRK-iK26LT rigging system employs articulated links to interconnect adjacent cabinets, allowing vertical splay angles from 0° to 8° using magnetic quick-release pins. The system maintains a rigid, predetermined intercabinet angle under load, ensuring consistent array geometry during tilt adjustments.
A_LinkTV Rigging Link Operation
The A_LinkTV rigging link permits independent angle selection at its top and bottom interfaces. The total splay angle between cabinets is the sum of these two settings. All available combinations are provided in the next Table.
| Link Top Angle | Link Bottom Angle | 展開 |
| 0° | 0° | 0° |

- Single Enclosure: floor or ceiling mounting for front-fill, under-balcony, or effects channels.
- Small Arrays: limited vertical stacks of up to three enclosures
Requirements for Flown Arrays:
For all other flown applications—including those exceeding the above limita-tions—use the TMF-iK26LT rigging frame
TUB-iK26LT Multipurpose U-Bracket Dimensions:
TUB-iK26LT Angle Setting
The TUB-iK26LT U-bracket includes multiple precision-drilled holes at both ends to allow angular adjustment. These holes align with the corresponding threaded inserts on the TRK-iK26 rigging frame of the iK26LT enclosure. Two magnetic quick-release pins (supplied with the iK26LT loudspeakers) per side are used to secure the loudspeaker to the bracket. Tilt angles are set by selecting the appropriate pin posi-tions.
Angle Range and Orientation
The TUB-iK26LT U-bracket provides an angular range of +11° to –12° relative to its mounting plane. The reference for positive and negative angles depends on the installation configuration:
- Ceiling-mounted or flown arrays
- Positive angles: upward tilt (towards the ceiling or supporting structure).
- Negative angles: downward tilt (towards the audience or floor).
- Floor-mounted configurations
- Positive angles: downward tilt (towards the audience).
- Negative angles: upward tilt (towards the ceiling).

Third-Party Accessory Integration (e.g., Speaker Stand Adapter)
The TUB-iK26LT U-bracket is designed to interface with industry-standard third-party accessories, such as the König & Meyer 195/8 speaker stand adapter, enabling rapid deployment on tripod speaker stands. This provides flexible ground-based support in applications where permanent mounting or flown configurations are not practicable.
Integration Procedure
- 適配器選擇
Use only adapters certified for the weight and form factor of the iK26LT system. - 安裝
Attach the third-party adapter to the both 11mm diameter inserts of the TUB-iK26LT U- bracket. - 支架相容性
Ensure the tripod stand is fitted with a compatible 35 mm cup and rated for the total suspended load. - 固定
Hand-tighten the adapter using the integrated locking lever or a suitable spanner until fully seated and rigid.
Load and Height Restrictions
- Maximum Load: the combined loudspeaker weight must not exceed 80% of the rated capacity of either the tripod stand or the adapter, whichever is lower.
- Height Limit: the system shall only be used at the three lowest height settings of the tripod stand to maintain stability. Extending beyond these positions significantly increases the risk of tipping.
- Array Size: when deployed on a stand, the U-bracket is approved for a maximum of two (2) iK26LT enclosures.
- CAUTION: The use of third-party accessories voids the manufac-turer’s warranty for related components. Failure to comply with the specified load and height restrictions may result in instability, tipping, or collapse, causing injury or damage. Always deploy the stand with its legs fully extended and on a level, stable surface.

- Note on Responsibility: Exel Acoustics does not certify, evaluate, or endorse the safety of third-party accessories. It is the sole responsi-bility of the user or system operator to verify that any accessory em-ployed is suitable, correctly rated, and compliant with applicable safety regulations.
