The Godox V480-C uses a high-capacity 7.2V/2200mAh Li-ion battery (VB22). Before first use, fully charge the battery.
- To install the battery, slide it into the battery compartment on the flash unit until it clicks into place.
- To charge, connect the USB-C charging cable to the battery's USB-C port and then to the provided adapter or a compatible USB power source. The battery can also be charged directly via the USB-C port on the flash unit.
- A full charge provides approximately 650 full-power flashes with a recycle time of 1.7 seconds.

The V480-C features a built-in 2.4GHz X wireless system, functioning as both a transmitter and receiver. It supports 32 channels and up to 100 meters range.
- To pair, ensure both the flash and the trigger (e.g., Godox X3 trigger) are set to the same channel and ID.

Flash output can be adjusted via the touchscreen or physical controls. Exposure compensation (FEC) can be set in ±3 steps with 1/3 increment.
